The Northland Sno-Goers trail system in Fox Creek makes up the western portion of the Golden Triangle. The well-maintained trails connect the communities of Fox Creek, Swan Hills and Whitecourt. The trail is great and in two to three day’s you can easily ride the length of the triangle.
Three of the Northland Sno-Goers cabins, the Trappers Cabin, the Eagle Cabin and the new Goose Main cabin (Harold’s Hut) serve as warm up spots for the Golden Triangle. This site includes detailed information on the Northland Sno-Goers portion of the trail but more information can be found on the Whitecourt Trailblazers site and the Golden Triangle site. As parts of the trail are taken care of by different groups we recommend you review conditions at the individual lengths before your ride.
